High-Low adapter premium 2-channel Line Driver
High-Low adapter
A high-low adapter is used when the OEM radio does not have low-level outputs / RCA outputs to provide signal to an amplifier.
The speaker outputs are connected to the high-low adapter and the transferred signal from the RCA outputs of the high-low adapter is used as input to an external amplifier.
Vehicle-specific T-cable harnesses are used as an installation aid for trouble-free retrofitting of an installation.
Line Driver / Extender
Line Drivers amplify weak preamplifier outputs from devices to match the RCA amp input for optimal tuning.
Signal level boosting prevents noise caused by interference in the signal path.
Note:
High-Low adapter
remote output generated from 6V BTL voltage
not suitable for OEM HUs with digital amplifier
not suitable for OEM HUs with impedance monitoring
Use case:
High-Low adapter amp > preamp
2 channel
adjustable output
12V remote
Common GND connection to prevent noise interference
Linedriver up to 10V output / 28 ohm
adjustable output
