Rear view camera adapter Honda

Rear view camera adapters are required to maintain the OEM rear view camera.

These allow the connection of a factory pre-equipped camera to an aftermarket device with camera input.

Depending on the vehicle and equipment, the adapter provides the video signal RCA, a power supply +6V/ground for the OEM camera and the +12V revere gerar signal or this must be connected in the vehicle.

Vehicles with a 360° camera system or systems with moving distance lines may not be compatible.

Before installation check the correct assignment of the adapter to the OEM connector.

Many retrofit devices must be set to the camera function in the menu.

Note:

connector: OEM camera > RCA(m) yellow

connection:
purple/white: +12V reverse gear signal output
black: GND clamp 31

OEM camera supply voltage: +6V

vehicles with different assignments:

check the assignment before connecting to avoid faults or defects on the vehicle or the retrofit device

camera +6V power supply > check for correct assignment with OEM HU before installation
Video +/- > check for correct assignment with OEM HU before installation
